Someone asked earlier, 'Hello, I have recieved a pdf that uses the font 'Interstate-light', I have asked for this font from our prep department. They use MAC's so they converted to TrueType for us. I installed the fonts including one called Interstate-light, however, in my fonts list I only show Interstate. Should this be a selectable font from a font list or is 'light' a style that needs to be applied, such as bold, underline, or italic? Download drivers notebook cce linha wingstop. Urgent' I am having a very, very similar problem. I tried what it said in the solution for the previous one, but it didn't work. Is it possible to receive the files from the previous exchange -- just to rule out the possibility of an inherent problem with the typeface. ![]() Everything about Mazda cars. We'll try to figure something else out. Any urgent help will be appreciated. -- pragmatist, [email protected]. Pragmatistgai, I have some suggestions: First, make sure the font really is installed: go to your /windows/fonts folder and make sure it's there, or use a font manager such as AMP Font Viewer () or The Font Thing () to check that it's installed (both of those are free, btw). Second, if it is installed, check to see if you can see the font in other programs, some times specific programs have difficulty seeing a font. Photoshop in particular is notorious for this, and for grouping fonts in odd ways that make them hard to find. Third, try uninstalling it and reinstalling it using the font manager. Fourth, I don't know where you got it from, but perhaps get a new copy - myfonts.com is always good, although it isn't a cheap font. () Cheers, LHerrou. LHerrou, Thanks for your help. I can see it with Font Viewer, but Windows installation doesn't work. Which is very odd. I am using Word and PowerPoint. I uninstalled it and did 'File>install fonts,' and the same problem continues. When I copy and paste the files, I can see them individually. This happened to me with Nimrod also. I just thought it was my computer, but I guess this has happened to others. Buying another fresh copy is out of the question; that's going to put me on the street. Traditionally, when on the computer, something happens that is beyond my comprehension, I just give the monitor a few wild beatings, and things work file. This time, even that didn't work. ![]() It's probably something really stupid like the way the files are named. If there are any other solutions out there, please feel to post them here. Thank you, LHerrou, for your thoughtful response. (Maybe, I'll work on this like a monkey typing, trying to reproduce a work of Shakespeare; eventually I am bound to find the answer.) Thanks, Pragmatic, [email protected]. Back again with some more alternative fonts for your graphic design pleasure. This time I want to show you some very fresh fonts, none of the presented fonts are designed prior to 1999. This is partly because Interstate itself is quite new (1993) and it would be strange if I found an alternative that is older than the original. A bit of history - Interstate is based on the font used by the Federal Highway Administration and was one of the most popular typefaces in the 90s. Used often for corporate design and quite flexible enough for a broad range of 'topics'. Enough bla bla, lets get started.
